Is the 14-day trial really free?
Yes. No card required. No credit checks. No silent auto-billing. The trial includes the full Growth feature set so you can evaluate properly. If you don't subscribe, your account simply pauses — and your data is preserved for 30 days in case you change your mind.
What happens after 14 days?
You pick a plan or you don't. If you don't, the workspace becomes read-only — you can still export everything, but no new expenses can be submitted. We never charge unless you explicitly subscribe.
Is there a setup fee or hidden cost?
No setup fee on any plan. No per-transaction fee. No 'AI credits' to top up. The advertised price is the entire price — for everyone in your team, every month.
Can I switch plans later?
Yes — upgrade or downgrade any time from Settings → Billing. Upgrades are pro-rated and take effect immediately; downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle.
What does 'unlimited users' on Business mean?
Exactly that. No per-seat creep. Onboard the whole company on a flat fee. If you need help with rollout planning, your CSM has a playbook ready.
Is there a minimum contract?
No. Monthly plans are month-to-month with no commitment. Annual plans get a 17% discount and run for 12 months. Either way, cancel any time.
How do I cancel?
From Settings → Billing → Cancel. One click. You don't need to call us, write a letter, or 'speak to retention'. We'll be sorry to see you go, but we won't make it difficult.
Do you support purchase orders / invoicing?
Yes — on Business plans (or Growth annual on request). We support net-30 terms, multi-year contracts, and procurement-friendly paperwork. Speak to us at hello@spendgenie.co.uk.
Discounts for non-profits, startups, or education?
Yes — registered UK non-profits get 40% off, accredited UK startups (3 years from incorporation) get 25% off year one, education gets 30% off. Talk to us to apply.
What happens to our data if we cancel?
You own your data. Cancel and you have 30 days to export everything (expenses, receipts, audit logs, approvals) in CSV / Excel / PDF. After 30 days we permanently delete it and confirm in writing on request.
